If the speed and courtesy of the text I received regarding my voicemail is any indication, this service deserves the over 400 five star reviews. In short, I was searching for an appliance installation and they responded quickly by text, "Hello Bob- Sorry we don't service your area just yet. Try Google for closer results." Fast and helpful even when I wasn't going to be a customer. Makes me wish I lived on the north side of Chicago.
Super pleased with the work these guys did. Had an issue with our washing machine, and Omar came right out to take a look at it. Within about 5 minutes, he knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. He ordered the necessary parts and had the problem fixed in no time. It's been nearly two years since that repair, and our washing machine is still going strong! Not only do these guys do excellent work, but Omar is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, so if you are ever in need of and appliance repair service, look no further.
I had my first interaction with Appliance Repair Doctor and felt compelled to write a review. When I came to their page, it didn't surprise me at all that they have a ton of 5 star ratings. My husband and I had just cancelled our home warranty policy when our dishwasher broke. We recently bought our house, so we didn't want to buy a new one (and thank god we didn't). My husband found APD online and sent them a message online, and they called us back today. Javier ended up walking me through fixing the dishwasher in 5 minutes. He wanted to help us over the phone before he sent someone out there or we called someone else to come look at it. It literally took 5 minutes and we paid nothing. It's really really hard to find vendors these days that don't nickle and dime or try to take advantage of you, and ARD are the opposite. They legitimately are more concerned with fixing the problem than making sure they make as much money as possible. They seem absolutely reliable and trustworthy because they know it drives their future business. 10/10 would call again (and I will as soon as something else breaks).
We have used this company twice for separate washer and dryer issues. They are pretty prompt in responding to a quote, our appointments have always been scheduled for the next day and both jobs cost somewhere between $200-$250. Their employees have been on time, courteous and explain the problem/solution.
These folks are amazing! I'm always really skeptical when I call a repair service or plumber, and I have had some really bad experiences in the past. The norm seems to be overcharging and upselling on everything possible. That is NOT the case with this company. My washer had broken down and they were able to fit me in on a Saturday same-day service call. The technician was very friendly, and he was able to diagnose and fix the problem within a matter of minutes. The cost was very reasonable, and I was back up and running in no time. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your appliance repair needs.
The spin cycle on my washing machine decided to go bust. Reached out to these guys on yelp...scheduling was easy. They came out promptly and fixed the actuator. Washing machine now works like a charm. Easy as that!
