Contractors for anything are not easy to come by. A PLUS rescued my Samsung electric clothes dryer the same day I called. The service person was extremely professional and friendly. He kept me informed of each step of the repair process (I like to know what's going on). Price seemed reasonable to me. I don't trust easily and am prone to question everything. I was comfortable with this company and am very happy that the work is done.
I called on a Holiday, that my washer stopped working. I received an email that day that A + could be there the next day. Vladimir from the Marin Office came at 1100. He was very polite, put boot covers on & went to work. He had to take the complete washing machine apart to find the culprit-a plastic lip gloss container! Paid $200.00 and I cleaned inside my washing machine on top of that. Every job is different, but they charge the typical $75.00 to come out. Called on Monday about a broken dryer and got an appointment for the same day between 1 and 3 pm. The technician showed up at 1PM, found the problem and fixed it within an hour. Very prompt and professional service. I would definitely use them again in the future.
I called A Plus Appliance about a Thermador range 48" problem with burners stop working, office was very help full, they set a time the same day wow!!. Aduard or Ed was the technician came on time even sooner, he diagnosed the problem immediately, gave me a quot on the job that was very fair, obtained the parts I needed and replaced it the next day he was very pleasant easy to talk to, exceptional, great help, very professional and knows what he is doing! I'm grateful for his help and next time for my appliance repair only Aduard will work on them. I will recommend "A+ Appliance Repair to all my friends, and when you call the office for repair ask for Aduard he won't disappoint you. Thank you A++++
Edward came out the same day as my online request for dishwasher repair. He quickly discerned the problem (water inlet valve), explained the rationale and showed me the problem with the part. The dishwasher is now working perfectly. Excellent work.
We called about our suddenly-broken dryer this morning, and Serge showed up at 1 pm on the nose to fix it. He found several wear and tear issues, but was able to repair them all in one visit. As usual (we have used A Plus before), the service was professional, speedy, and reasonably priced. We especially appreciate the same day appointment. I highly recommend A Plus for any appliance repairs you might have!
These guys are friendly, and are straightforward. Although repairing the washer job took about 3 visits to fully fix, they didn't charge for each one or by the hour, just to finish and complete the job successfully. Replacing the drain pump was definitely not something that I could do by myself, since it required moving the entire stacked washer/dryer setup - and these guys were pros, keeping everything clean and tidy the whole while. Highly recommended.
Just received excellent service from Vladimir. He diagnosed and fixed my dryer quickly and economically. He determined the problem and provided expert, friendly and practical advice. I will definitely call this place again future repairs

Believe it or not, I almost wished another appliance would break down!! Vladimir is a delightful man to work with. He is a pleasant, delightful person who thoroughly and honestly reviews the problem. He is fair, reliable, knowledgeable and extremely competent. No problem at all recommending A Plus Appliance.
I am very disappointed in this place. Their labor is expensive, and that's fair enough, I have no complaints about the quality of their work. But they overcharge for parts. I was surprised by the price of a part and when I looked it up on Amazon it turns out I paid four times the market rate. In short, unless you can check in real time to verify you won't be ripped off, you probably will be ripped off. Stay away.
I called A+ at 10 Am to get my refrigerator fixed. I spoke with: Imel (I hope I got the name right) - it was good to speak with the technician himself instead of an answering service. He told me he would arrive at 2PM but called at 11AM to tell me he had an opening. He arrived at 11:40 diagnosed the problem - found the part- installed it and was gone an hour before he was originally scheduled to arrive. It's great to talk with the technician at the start- I told him I would be home waiting- when he had a cancellation he knew to call and bump - up my appointment. I'll call him the next time something breaks - hopefully not too soon.
Note: I have not been paid to write this review or gotten any kind of discount for writing it, nor did A plus repair ask me to write anything. I did use a "yelp deal" to get a better price on the service. My dishwasher was leaking and not cleaning my dishes so I called them up. Getting an appointment the same day was no problem. The repairman was even early (I was out walking my dog) but patiently waited for me at my front door, with no complains for having to wait 5 minutes for me. It didn't take him long to take apart the dishwasher and diagnose the problem: it was just an old worn out model (I didn't purchase it so I had no idea how old it was). He told me it might be possible to fix (motor was busted and tub had a leak), but it would be very expensive and not worth it, I should buy a new one instead. I paid the very reasonable service fee and he was on his way. I appreciated getting an honest and expert opinion even though A Plus Appliance Repair could have made a lot of $$$ off of me. So I will definitely consider them again for future repair jobs.
